# Activation

After importing the extension to Qlik Sense Enterprise Server, you should activate the extension.

 There is no need to activate the extension on Qlik Sense Desktop.

To activate the extension on Qlik Analytics Platform use Single Configurator tool of the Dev Hub.

 The activation should be made by the **RootAdmin** user.

To activate the extension, you will have to choose one of the two options – **online activation (**if you have internet connection**)** or **offline activation:**
