# Select all

The action will select all values in a field.

Enter a field name manually or select it by clicking <img src="https://4159443657-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-legacy-files/o/assets%2F-Lb8fteihZN5J-edUC8e%2F-LbWqlqwCahK9_Vh8bZR%2F-LbWqqA3M4yuV4ioisW9%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=7e19bc48-6aa5-41a7-8ef8-b61c574fe359" alt="" data-size="original"> button.&#x20;

A Qlik expression can be used in the “Field” parameter by prefixing it with an equals sign.

The “Soft lock” parameter will allow you to override the locked selections.
